Yoga

Yoga.

We offer daily yoga classes (Monday to Saturday) at our Buddha Sanctuary in Broome. Our classes are taught by highly experienced yoga instructors who are warm, welcoming and all sorts of wonderful! We teach in an open and inclusive way, with a strong focus on body awareness and correct alignment, and honour you no matter where you’re at with your practice.

Classes are valued at $20 per class for a casual drop-in, or $170 for a 10-class pass.

Our offerings include

Hatha

Postures (asana) and breathing techniques (pranayama) for peace and well-being, preparing the body and mind for deeper spiritual practise (meditation).

Sivananda

Classical Hatha Yoga with long-held postures and strong awareness of the breath.

Iyengar Yoga

Centered on precision and alignment in the performance of a posture. Props and equipment assist in experiencing the full benefits of the pose.

Elemental Yoga

A fusion of Vinyasa (flowing movement synchronised with the breath) and classical Hatha with Kundalini and Tantric influences.

We have mats, bolsters, and all the props and equipment you’ll need, if you don’t have your own.

Safety.

If you let us know of any health or physical concerns we’ll work with you to listen to your body so you can flow through your practice with ease.

Comfort.

With recent renovations to our yoga pavilion, we can now offer yoga inside no matter the weather outside.

A peaceful vibe.

Overlooking our tranquil, meditation garden, you’ll practice in one of the most beautiful spaces in Broome. A place to be still, be aware and let go!
